Self Program Level 3

24. Nonlinear dynamic principle

Kicking the ball with the inside of the right and left foot while stepping up and down a step. Stay in balance while moving on your toes. Stay in the rhythm.

25. Stay in balance and perform in a rhythmic and controlled way

Kicking the ball with the inside of the right and left foot while stepping up and down a step. Now there is a backwards stepping up the step requiring a lot of concentration and balance. Stay in the rhythm.

26. Be aware of the importance of inhibition and control your impulses

Correct timed stepping up and down the step in a lateral way spreading and closing your legs while kicking the ball with the inside of the feet in a circular movement in front of the body.

27. Learn to stop and kick correctly with the inside foot

Correct timed stepping up and down the step in a lateral way while kicking the ball with the inside of the feet in a circular movement in front of the body. Now two kicks are performed while you are standing on the step. So it is very important to stay in balance on the step.

28. Learn to stop and kick correctly with the outside foot

Correct timed stepping up and down the step in a lateral way while kicking the ball with the outside of the feet in a circular movement in front of the body. Now two kicks are performed while you are standing on the step. So it is very important to stay in balance on the step.

29. Unconscious performances: Automate a number of movements while focusing on one particular skill

Correct timed stepping over the step from left to right and conversely, kicking the ball with the outside of the right and left foot in a circular movement in front of your body. Mind the fast footwork and continuously lift your knees properly and keep moving on your toes

30. Kick and lift your knees to gain speed

Correct timed stepping over the step from left to right and conversely, kicking the ball with the inside of the right and left foot in a circular movement in front of your body. Mind the fast footwork and continuously lift your knees properly and keep moving on your toes.

31. Cross lateral movements to organize the brain in a better way

Correct timed stepping up and down the step in a lateral way while kicking the ball forwards with the inside of the feet. Open and align your feet properly while kicking to improve the flexibility of your ankles and your balance. The alignment of the feet is important for accelerating after a pass.

32. Straight feet faster acceleration

Correct timed stepping up and down the step in a lateral way while kicking the ball forwards with the outside of the feet. Now the alignment of the feet makes it easier to accelerate after a pass.

33. Being reactive on a ball arriving in and out of your perception

You start kicking twice the ball with the inside of the feet in a circular movement in front of the body on the step. Then you step off the step and you kick the ball with the inside of a foot behind your standing foot. Again you step on the step and repeat two kicks with the inside of your foot. Continuous search for balance while moving your feet in the lateral and sagittal plane.

34. Fast lateral moving while kicking the ball

Lateral stepping on and off the step while kicking the ball with the instep of the left and right foot in a horizontal way from right to left and conversely. Fast adaptation to changing kicking positions, fast moving on toes and continuous search for balance.

35. Changing from kicking to heading correctly timed

Two performers. One (1) performing with 2 Balls, the other (2) throwing one regular soccer ball. Player 1 swings one Ball from right to left and conversely and kicks simultaneously one Ball forwards and controls it with the interior of his foot. While executing these skills player 2 throws correctly timed the regular soccer ball to the head of player 1 and he heads back the ball into the hands of player 2. The timing of the combined skills needs to be perfect. This drill requires high concentration and a continuous shift of attention to check the synchronization of the performance.

36. Speeding up your ball touches

One performer with 2 VibeBalls. Kick one VibeBall straight forwards with the inside of the right foot and while this VibeBall is on the wing kick the second VibeBall with the inside of the same foot behind your left standing foot a little bit diagonally forwards. Change continuously from one VibeBall to the other while fluently moving on your toes. After 20 kicks with the inside of the right foot, change to the left foot and repeat the same drill.

37. Multitasking 1: adapt to different ball sizes to improve coordination and precision

2 performers: one with a VibeBall, the other one with a regular soccer ball in his hands.
The player with the VibeBall kicks the VibeBall alternately with the inside of his right and left foot forwards. He also tries to kick back with his left foot the ball thrown by the second player.

To perform this drill the player with the VibeBall uses a time loop.

1: Kick the VibeBall with inside right foot forwards.

2: Kick the VibeBall with the inside of the left forwards.

3: Again kick the VibeBall with the inside of the right foot forwards.

4: Kick the thrown ball back with the inside of the left foot.

5: Kick VibeBall with inside right foot forwards.

6: Repeat the same strategy several times using 4 times before you change feet to kick back the thrown ball.

38. Multitasking 2: adapt to different ball sizes to improve coordination and precision

2 performers: one with a VibeBall, the other one with a regular soccer ball.

The player with the VibeBall kicks the VibeBall alternately with the inside of his right and left foot forwards. He also tries to kick back with his left foot the ball passed on the ground by the second player.

To perform this drill the player with the VibeBall uses a time loop.

1: Kick the VibeBall with inside right foot forwards.

2: Kick the VibeBall with the inside of the left forwards.

3: Again kick the VibeBall with the inside of the right foot forwards.

4: Kick the ball on the ground back with the inside of the left foot.

5: Kick the VibeBall with inside right foot forwards.

6: Repeat the same strategy several times using 4 times before you change feet to kick back the ball on the ground.

39. Multitasking 3: adapt to different ball sizes to improve coordination and precision

2 performers: one with a VibeBall, the other one with a regular soccer ball.

The player with the VibeBall kicks the VibeBall alternately with the outside of his right and left foot forwards. He also tries to kick back with his left foot the ball passed on the ground by the second player.

To perform this drill the player with the VibeBall uses a time loop.

1: Kick VibeBall with outside right foot forwards.

2: Kick the VibeBall with the outside of the left forwards.

3: Again kick the VibeBall with the outside of the right foot forwards.

4: Kick the ball on the ground back with the outside of the left foot.

5: Kick Vibeball with outside right foot forwards.

6: Repeat the same strategy several times using 4 times before you change feet to kick back the ball on the ground.

40. Cross lateral movements organize the brain

Kick the VibeBall alternately with your left and right heel next to your body. You start performing this drill holding the handle in your left hand and kick the VibeBall with your right heel backwards (your legs go into a crosswise position). When the VibeBall goes behind your back to the other side of your body you change the handle from your left hand to the right. Then you kick the VibeBall back with your left heel and change hands again.
